Description
I was inspired this handmade garment from the traditional game Maypole. Maypole is played by thirteen dancers. One of them holds the pole in the middle and the others hold twelve cordons of different colour. Dancers become six pairs, who dance one opposite to the other and passing the once below the other under the cordon of his partner singing a traditional song.
The cordons are tangled together and they make a nice figure. When they are all near the pole then they dance the opposite way till cordons are released and the dance finishes.
Maypole symbolizes concord and friendship.
